Potter's wheel experience
Join our creative, fun and friendly Introduction to the Potter's Wheel Class. We're currently limiting the group to x14 ppl per session. This allows for bags of individual attention and guidance from either Sarah or myself. Please allow 1.5hrs for your visit. On arrival you'll be offered a warm welcome and shown to your potter's wheel. Following a step by step demonstration, you'll be sharing one wheel between two - each potter has two turns to attempt to make a pot. (We encourage participants to swap between goes as it's a great spectator sport and we think you learn loads by watching your potting partner make their pot.) At the end of the session you may...or may not ;) have two pots to show for you efforts. You’ll be offered one of three choices: 1) The ‘green’ option. We’ll recycle all your attempts so your clay can be enjoyed again and again by our lovely customers. 2) Select your favourite pot to take away, air-dry and paint at home. 3) For an additional £20 per pot we’ll fire and glaze your creation. Your masterpiece will need to dry thoroughly before it goes in the kiln. It will be fired twice. This whole process takes about a month, after which we’ll contact you to let you know it’s ready for collection from the Pottery. P+P can be arranged at £5 per item.
Bath Stand Up Paddle Board Adventure

The wildlife safari paddle starts here as you paddle down towards Bathampton where you can expect to see Kingfishers, Grey Herons and other wildlife dependent on the time of year. Oxford University Tour With Alumni
We will start with a whirlwind overview of Oxford as the central player in 1,000 years of British history, and giving guests an understanding of how the sprawling institution operates before embarking on the tour. Navigating down the windy alleyways we will get an insiders take on the little known viewing angles that bring across the drama of the world famous architecture in this city. With striking spires and imposing buildings, we will cover how these influenced Tolkien, C S Lewis, along with Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. We will enter one of the oldest Colleges at Oxford, renowned for its beautiful gardens, before heading into one of the most famous Library's in the world - responsible for over 13 million books. Capping this off we will cover a Harry Potter film site, along with why the most powerful religious figure England has ever seen, was burnt alive in the centre of Oxford, on what is now such a nondescript part of road you could easily miss it. Please note: Colleges and the Library can shut without notice and currently they are available as of August 2021. If this changes on the day we will of course incorporate them - if we are not able to offer any access, we will offer up the option of a full refund.

Beehive Air Therapy & Bee Beds
Experience beehive air therapy in the restorative and soothing atmosphere of our apitherapy house. Relax upon special ‘bee beds’ inside a uniquely constructed building. Then dream, meditate or chat with friends. View the apiary and woodland or browse the bookshelves. Honeybees create an impeccably clean and healthy environment inside a hive using the beneficial properties of wax, honey, propolis and more. The bee hive air permeates up through vents into the apitherapy house. It is relaxing, de-stressing, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, full of negative ions and deliciously fragrant. One can lie down on the beds and be entranced by the gentle hum and whispering of the honeybees below, at the same time benefitting from micro vibrations. The whole building is designed to enhance the finest quality of air. Breathing masks are available, being connected directly to the hives below the beds for more concentrated beehive air. People come to these experiences for many reasons: Simple relaxation and rest; as a remedy for an imbalance, ailment or concern; to share some meditative time; to immerse in the blessings of bees; with friends and fellowship with nature or simple soulful solitude. I like to consider this experience as a perfect mix of science and sorcery. Blending the medical benefits of this soothing apitherapy with magic, wonder and literally inspiration. Malvern Hills cultural walks - Tolkien trail & Lewis loop
Legendary fantasy authors JRR Tolkien and CS Lewis were frequent visitors to the Malvern Hills and the distinctive landscape may have inspired some features of Middle Earth and Narnia, including the Giant's Cave from the Hobbit and the Victorian gas lamps from The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe. You'll choose between 2 routes, the Tolkien Trail or the Lewis Loop, both of which are outlined below. The CS Lewis Loop begins at the Mr. Tumnus bench in Priory Park and through Malvern Theatres to the Priory, home to what may be Narnia's original gas lamp. It's then on to Lewis's former school Cherbourg House before pausing at the Lewis Memorial in Rosebank Gardens and following the gas lamps up to St. Ann's Well cafe and around North Hill to Dr. Who filming locationTank Quarry.. After dropping down to Alexandra Rd where both Lewis's biographer George Sayers & composer Sir Edward Elgar lived, it ends at Lewis & Tolkien's favourite pub The Unicorn Inn. The JRR Tolkien Trail follows the main ridge south from the Wyche Cutting, over several summits to the Giants Cave which may have inspired the cave in Tolkien's first book, the Hobbit. The trail then returns north, with optional stops at the Malvern Hills Hotel or the Kettle Sings Cafe before ending where it began. Whichever walk you choose, you'll hear tales of cultural legends whilst savouring the best views in the West Midlands.
