Lakatnik rocks and the caves
Our meeting point will be at the Central Train Station at 8am in Sofia. Romantic trip via train will bring us to one of the most beautiful limestone cliffs in Bulgaria. With its height of 250m, it has been compared to the nature of Switzerland. Only 52km from the capital Sofia you can feel the song of the birds and the smell of the pine forest. The village is nestled at the foot of the majestic Lakatnik rocks. One of the most beautiful natural attractions in Bulgaria. On top of the rocks rises a massive monument of stone blocks. Built in memory of the fallen September soldiers in 1923. This is our highest destination. On our way we will have few stops to make panoramic photos. We are going to see one of the biggest karst spring Jetoliub and then check the gate of the cave Temnata Dupka - The Dark Hole, the longest cave in the area. We will keep going until an amazing view will be discovered in front of us. After a good relax we are going back, but this time we will take another path where we are going to see Ruzhishka cave and the Stone Arch. Before we catch up the train again, we can stop and have delicious meal made by eco products in a local restaurant in Lakatnik. Lakatnik is aways magical!

The night e-scooter tour of Sofia
My favourite part of the day is the time when the sun begins to set and the locals start gathering in lively groups to enjoy the evening. The city lights turn on one by one, shedding light on Sofia's main landmarks. There is almost no traffic - the perfect moment to explore the city on electric scooters! I can't wait to share this moment with you! We will tour most of the sites in the centre and ride through Borisova garden (The local Central Park), which walking tours skip. We will pass by the Soviet Army Monument, the romantic Lilies Pond, and the small Astronomic Observatory of Sofia University. Then we will ride back to the centre. It will already be dark and I will show you some nice places where you can enjoy the rest of the evening like a local or have a late dinner. The itinerary is about 9 km (5.5 mi) long. It doesn't include any direct riding with heavy traffic. We will be going mostly through bike lanes and areas where cars are not allowed. The e-scooters' top speed is 25 km/h (15 mph). Max load is 100 kg (220 lbs). Min. age is 16. Helmets will be provided for everyone and we will start with brief but precise instructions on how to use the scooters. Safety 1st! Note that insurance is not included. Group tours are in English, privates can be in Bulgarian, Russian or French. IMPORTANT: if you can't ride a bike, you can't ride an e-scooter - they are quite similar!
The Seven Rila Lakes Full-Day Tour
Кnee-deep snow is expected to cover the Lakes until around the end of May. Therefore the area may be covered in snow, mud, and puddles, and very slippery by mid-June. Аdequate equipment: comfortable and waterproof trekking boots and clothes required. Our meeting point will be behind Aleksander Nevski Cathedral, in front of "La Cattedrale restaurant". The departure is at 07:00 o'clock sharp. We'll drive to Panichishte Resort chair lift, which takes us to the Seven Rila Lakes Cirque (chair lift ticket 25 BGN). Then we start exploring them one by one. Each lake is named after its most characteristic feature. The highest one (at 2500m above sea level) is called Salzata "The Tear", from where we have a bird’s eye view over all seven lakes, as well as surrounding outcrops and deep valleys; the next one in height carries the name Okoto "The Eye" after its oval form; Babreka "The Kidney" is the lake with the steepest shores of the entire group; Bliznaka "The Twin" is the largest of all; Trilistnika "The Trefoil" has an irregular shape; the shallowest lake is Ribnoto Ezero "The Fish Lake" and the lowest one is Dolnoto Ezero "The Lower Lake" (2100m above sea level), where the water that flows out of the other lakes is gathered to form the source of Dzherman River. Once you visit the last lake, we'll return to the upper station of the chair lift, ride it, and head back to Sofia.
