The tour starts at the middle of the afternoon at the pier in Urca near to Bar urca. We will sail by the Fortress of São João, Fortress Laje and Fortress Santa Cruz, and close to the Island of Boa Viagem in Niterói. There will be one stop point at Adão e Eva beach or Praia Vermelha, perfect for picture taking and if you are interested to swim! Then we will pass by the Museum of Contemporary Art and sail back with the amazing view of the sunset on the horizon. There are gorgeous views of Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer throughout the ride, as they are central to the scenery of Rio's coast. The tour finishes after the sunset to make the most of this amazing view of the city. Other things to note You must bring your camera, sunscreen, swimsuit and flip flops.

In this experience, we will pick you up from your home* and take you to get to know the most important points of the city. We will begin immediately by visiting Christ the Redeemer (ticket included), to avoid queues and take the best photos for your photos**; then the neighborhood of Santa Teresa, an artistic area with its exclusive tram and then the Selarón Staircase, one of Rio's most famous sights. From there we will go to the Metropolitan Cathedral, a unique building in downtown Rio. My experience consists of an authentic forest immersion at Pedra Branca State Park, located 50km away from Zona Sul and which is internationally known as IBA (Important Bird and Biodiversity Area). I visit this Park since 2003, it is three times the size of Tijuca National Park and it hosts the largest urban forest in the country. We will hike in a beautiful circuit part of the "Transcarioca" trails. We will visit the Camorim water reservoir and our final destination is the Quilombo Rock (735m) with a breathtaking view of the city. We will also enjoy a waterfall. We will pass by historic sites utilised by slaves that escaped at the end of XIX century. I will share my knowledge about the ecosystem and the history of the territory and the city since colonial times. By the end of the day you will have hiked approx. 15km in Atlantic Tropical forest. Most cariocas have never been here, I guarantee we will be off the beaten trails. We meet at 7:00 at Botafogo. 8:00 arrival at the Park. We start the trail towards the Camorim reservoir. 4km hike. 9:45 Camorim water reservoir 10:15 we continue towards the Quilombo Rock. 4km hike, moderate to difficult - in the last section we need to use our hands on a steel cable. 12:00 Quilombo Rock 13:00 we start our return 16:00 we leave the park and return to Botafogo

Nos encontraremos no Rancho MB, nosso ponto de partida, localizado nos arredores do Parque Ecológico da Serra da Tiririca, onde faremos uma apresentação dos cavalos utilizados e uma breve aula de equitação e orientação para o percurso. A cavalgada é realizada por trilhas na Serra da Tiririca, onde passaremos por um trecho percorrido pela expedição do cientista naturalista Charles Darwin em 1832, responsável pelo estudo da Teoria da Evolução das Espécies. Após cruzarmos a Serra, seguiremos por uma estrada de terra às margens do Parque até chegarmos a um quiosque na Praia de Itaipuaçu onde paramos para descanso e parada para almoço na areia da praia, depois retornaremos ao rancho MB pelo mesmo trajeto feito na ida. Seu guia ira tirar fotos de todo passeio que tem duração de 6 horas de cavalgada (ida e volta) e aproximadamente 25 km percorridos.
